Have 'My Computer' use Explore View by Default

To have 'My Computer' default to the Explorer view instead of the Tasks view, complete the following steps.

1. From the Start menu open 'My Computer'.
2. From the Tools menu, select 'Folder Options...'
3. Select the 'File Types' tab.
4. In the 'Registered file types' list, find the item that says '(NONE) Folder' and select it.Mycomp
5. Click on the the Advanced button.
6. Select 'Explore' in the 'Actions' list.
7. Click the 'Set Default' button.
8. Click the OK button.
9. Click the Close button.

Now every time when you open My Computer, it will open in the Explorer view by default.
